Transfer of ownership of a website (hosting plan) or domain name, how to do it?

At 4host.ch we are very scrupulous on the security side and that for a change of ownership we need a new order which must be made by the new administrator / ice or manager of a company / private eg:

previous owner had:

hosting linght with a registered domain name: vattelapesca.ch

The new owner / manager of a company / private individual must proceed in this order:

  1. Register the equivalent service (in this example a hosting light) by selecting the third (the third radio button) as the first option and can indicate a domain name (as the system will not allow you to indicate vattelapesca.ch as it is already present in our bank data) it will be possible to enter: vattelapesca-cambio-proprietario.ch)
  2. it will be necessary to complete the registration steps by selecting the correct options (it is possible to change them to the previous ones, we will see that we do not invoice for the current year extra options which will however be invoiced only at the renewal period).
  3. No payment will be required.

The old owner should instead do the following:

send us a support ticket using the online form: https://www.4host.ch/clienti/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=1 or by writing with the email with which the owner has registered the service to support @ 4host. ch (where the ticket is automatically created)
You must tell us to move this service and that domain name and as an example taken in this case: vattelapesca.ch with hosting service at the new owner eg:

2a. Dear 4host, I am asking you to move the domain name: vattlapesca.ch and the hosting service in place at my account to Mr. / Mrs. Name, Surname and evt. company.
2b. Also write a registered letter indicating the hosting plan and / or the domain name you want to pass and indicate which new owner or administrator / administrator.

For security reasons we do not accept such requests sent to emails such as info@4host.ch or by phone, live-chat, skype or other emails except by opening a ticket with the email support@4host.ch or directly from the customer area on https://www.4host.ch/clienti/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=1 or even by registered letter and this for obvious security reasons.

Only in this way can we make the change in a more regular and ad-hoc way both for us and for our valued customers.

NB: In the event of a dispute, we can help the new registrant to carry out these steps, but we cannot enroll the new customer as the request must be made by the owner or a manager for contractual reasons, but we can gladly guide you step by step to carry out these steps in such a way as to facilitate these steps and to avoid problems of various kinds.
